Austin Wade Martin, 34, a life-long resident of Lubbock passed away on Monday, July 8, 2024. He was born on June 14, 1990 here in Lubbock to Gayland Martin and Marsha Stiefel. Austin had a sweet and loving character; he enjoyed smiling and loved to laugh. He loved watching all types of cartoon shows, and listening to music. Every year he looked forward to going to the local fair, because he loved to watch all of the bright colorful lights that where there. Austin loved going on car rides and always spotted something new on his site seeing adventures. Although he enjoyed getting to go to new places and being outside, he also made sure he got his beauty sleep. Austin was loved by so many, and he had many special relationships with his family and caregivers.

Those left to cherish his memory are his memory are his mother, Marsha Martin; siblings, Hayley Martin and Wissam Jaber; nieces, Paisley and Paris Courville.

Austin was proceeded in death by his father, Gaylan; grandmothers, Mable Martin and Marcie Hines.

No services are scheduled at this time. Cremation services are under the direction of House of Angels Funeral Home.
