Archie Ray Mandrell, 72 of Shallowater passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2025. He was born on May 10, 1952, in Lubbock, Texas to Archie Ben and Wilma Jean (Higginbotham) Mandrell. Archie love his country life, riding horses, and spending time with his family, especially his granddaughters. He married Judy on June 15, 2007, in Slaton, Texas. He will be missed by all that knew him.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Judy Mandrell; children, Robert Mandrell, Chandra Wright and husband, Robert; two granddaughters, Samantha and Savanna Wright; Sister, Velma Landers; and several extended family members.

Archie was preceded in death by his parents, Archie and Wilma Jean Mandrell.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, April 21, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. at Shallowater Methodist Church, 809 Texas Ave, Shallowater, Texas 79363. Cremation services are under the direction of House of Angels Funeral Home, Lubbock, Texas.
