Angelica "Angie" Gutierrez

Angelica “Angie” Gutierrez, 48, of Brownfield, passed away surrounded by family on Tuesday, December 30, 2025. She was born on September 9, 1977 in Brownfield, Texas to Maria Sanchez. Angie was such a caring woman, she had a big heart and was always helping others. No matter the battles that life threw her, she was always willing to lend anyone a helping hand, and she carried the biggest smile in every room she walked into. Angie never met a stranger, she could go almost anywhere and she always find someone to talk to. She was a very strong-willed, independent person, she always showed up for everyone. Angie loved to cook out and have family gatherings, she enjoyed the many laughs together. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend to many. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Jessica, Maribel, Israel, and Betzaida; parents, Maria and Guillermo Perez; sister, Teresa and husband, Jesus; her boyfriend, Saul; grandchildren, Jasiel, Jose, Jayde, and Jesus; numerous beloved niece, nephews, and extended family members and friends.

Angie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Raul and Elena Sanchez; Uncle, Ruben Sanchez; siblings, Robert, Rene, Mary, Monica, and Ramon.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. ~ 8:00 p.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home, Brownfield Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home, Brownfield Chapel, 1211 Lubbock Rd. Brownfield, TX 79316. Burial will follow at Brownfield Cemetery.
