Angela Garcia, a lifelong resident of Lubbock passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at the age of 42. She was born on July 14, 1982, to Patsy Bentancourt and Clemente Garcia. Angela graduated from Lubbock High School and was a bright and happy soul. Angela was very creative and was known to be the "Best party planner". Angela loved to spend time with her family and friends. Even though Angela did not have children of her own, she was a mother to many, she adored her nephews, however JoJo was her pride and joy. She will be missed by all that knew her.

Those left to cherish her memory are her mother, Patsy Bentancourt; her father Clemente Garcia; sister, Miranda Garcia; nephews, Miles Garcia, Izzaiah Delgado, Roman Morales, and Joseph Rodriquez; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Angela was preceded in death by her Grandparents, Francisco and Ascension Bentancourt and George and Ruby Garcia.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 29, 2024, from 12:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. with rosary being recited at 6:00 p.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Slaton with burial to follow at Englewood Cemetery, Slaton, Texas.
