Arnold John "AJ" Cervantez, 46, of a lifelong resident of Lubbock passed away on Monday April 26, 2021. He was born on October 31, 1974 to Arnold and Rosa (Torres) Cervantez. A.J. attended Lubbock Schools graduating from Lubbock High School in the early 1990's. He is an immensely proud father and grandfather. A.J. loved to cook, bar-b-q was his specialty, and he enjoyed a good game of pool anytime. Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Kaitlyn Cervanez, Courtney Cervantez, Alyssa Ansley, Kylie Cervantez and Taylor Cervantez; two grandsons, Adaryn Cervantez and Ashton Rodriguez; mother, Rosa Torres; five brothers, Chris Torres, John Torres, Oscar Torres, Hector Torres, and Geno Cavacuela; grandparents, John and Oliva Cervantez. AJ is preceded in death by his father Arnold Cervantez and grandparents Pedro Castro and Lilly Torres. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 from 4:00 P.M. -9:00 P.M. with a prayer service being held at 7:00 P.M. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April29, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at House of Angles Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Englewood Cemetery in Slaton, Texas.
