Adela Gonzales, 66, of Shallowater, passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2023. She was born on August 5, 1956 in Mexico. Adela Was a Registered Nurse for many years in Mexico. She married John Gonzales in 1999 in Shallowater. Adela was a big member in her community of Shallowater and was a Guadalupana at her Church. She worked at Covenant Medical Center in House Keeping. Adela enjoyed cooking, bingo, caring for her grandbabies, and loved being outdoors. Adela was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and will be deeply missed by all.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, John; children, San Juan Gonzales, John Paul Gonzales, JoAnn Chaves, Cynthia Sanchez; siblings, Lupe Alvarado, and Jeorge Zuniga; 11 Grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.

Adela was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Lola; and nieces, Carla, Samantha, and Erica.

A visitation will be held on Monday, April 17, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. ~ 9:00 p.m. with a rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church in Shallowater, TX. Cremation services are under the direction of House of Angels Funeral Home.
