Adam Acebedo, 67, of Ropesville, passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2026. He was born on July 7, 1967 in Stanton, Texas to Lino Acebedo, Sr. and Margarita Rios. Adam served in the United States Air Force, and after serving his 3 years of active duty, he than worked as a crew chief civilian at Reese Air Force base until they closed. He loved to enjoy life to the fullest, he had the loudest laugh that you could hear from 3 rooms over, but he loved to joke around anyways. Adam was always ready to help anyone; he had a generous and caring heart and loved people loudly. Especially his parents, and his children. Adam was a jack of all trades and could fix just about anything you put in front of him. He enjoyed working on things, as well as collecting windchimes and globes of the world. You always knew what you could buy him for any holiday, and he would love it. He was a family man with a heart full of love to go around, he was a loving father, son, brother, grandfather, and friend.
Those left to cherish his memory are his father, Lino Acebdo, Sr.; children, Heather Bearden and spouse, Justin, Amanda Acebedo and spouse Balie, Adam Acebedo II and spouse, Jessica, Aaron Acebedo, Evan Quintilla, Adrian Rojas and Spouse, Jade, Karagen Perez and spouse, Erin; siblings, Elva Acebdo, Alfonso Acebedo and spouse, Linda, Juan Acebdo, Lino Acebedo, Jr. and spouse Marta, Oscar Acebedo and spouse Sulema, Sylvia Zamora and spouse Tony, Teresa Acebedo, and Laura Acebedo; six grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Adam was proceeded in death by his mother, Margarita Acebedo; and wife, Clarissa Acebedo.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. ~ 8:00 p.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel, 1211 Lubbock Rd. Brownfield, Tx 79316, with rosary to begin at 6:00 p.m... Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church with burial to follow at Brownfield Cemetery.
