Abel Soto, Jr., 55, of Lubbock, passed away surrounded by family on Friday, April 12, 2024. He was born on September 15, 1968 in Fresno, California to Abel Soto Sr, and Aurelia Gonzales. Abel married Annie Jimenez in December of 1993, they spent many years together with their families, until she passed away in February 2024. He was a hard working man. Abel was a licensed Electrician, he worked for Westech Electric Inc. for over 20 years, until his health would no longer allow it. He was also a very avid Dallas Cowboys Fan! He was a good man, very outspoken, and had many acquaintances.

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Aurelia Gonzales Soto; siblings, Maribel, Elizabeth, Avelardo and Raynaldo Soto; family friend and caretaker, Lisa Sanchez and her family; stepchildren, Daniel Rosales, Ricky Cantu, Sussie Cantu, and Olga Martinez; 16 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.

Abel was proceeded in death by his wife, Annie Soto.

Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 with the funeral service to begin at 11:00 a.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at City of Lubbock Cemetery.
