Aaliyah Rosas-Hernandez, child to Amber and Louis Hernandez, passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at the young age of 10. She was born in Lubbock on December 7, 2013. Although Aaliyah was so young, she had such a bright light in this world. She was always smiling, and happy. Aaliyah enjoyed so many of the simple things of life, like playing with animals, especially her dog, Brownie. She also enjoyed watching her younger sister playing around her, she would always laugh and giggle at them as they played with her. Aaliyah enjoyed watching shows with her sisters too, especially Luna the Moon and the Kraft Brothers. She loved to listen to music, and some of her favorite memories where with her mother playing the Air Guitar as the listened to some good country music. Outside of her family, she also had a very special bond with some of the nurses that helped with her, Ron and his wife, Nikki, and John.

Those left to cherish her memory are her parents, Amber Louis Hernandez; sisters, Kat and Marinette; grandparents, Ines, Felicia, Lola, and Ysidro Hernandez; aunts and uncles, Savanna, Roger, Eric, Noah, and Mae Hernandez; cousins, Angelina, Joel, Emily, Avaeh, Frankie, and Armani.

Aaliyah was proceeded in death by her cousins, Avery and Octavious.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. ~ 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday, March 13, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. ~ 4:00 p.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation services are under the direction of House of Angels Funeral Home.
