Robert Caudillo, 74, of Lubbock, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday, February 12, 2025. He was born in Lockhart, Texas to the late Marcelino and Ruth (Courtiel) Caudillo, Sr. Robert was a very humble, loving man. He married Amparo Berlanga on July 26, 1984, in Lubbock, Texas. Together they spent almost 50 years cherishing every memory made. Robert and Amparo were always welcoming people into their home, for gathers, parties, it didn't matter a reason, they always loved having people over. Robert enjoyed fishing, and every year he planted a garden and loved growing different vegetables, he was always sharing with friends and neighbors. He was also a mechanic and enjoyed working on different types of vehicles. Robert was a ministerial servant in the Jehovah Witness church that he attended here, he was strong in his faith and very devoted to always being a helping hand. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Amparo Caudillo; children, Jaime Berlanga and wife, Yesenia, Andrea Sperrazza and husband, Dominic; sisters, Dora Guajardo and husband, Lloyd, Janie Maldonado and husband Mike; grandson, Brandon Berlanda; 37 nieces and nephews.

Robert was proceeded in death by his parents, Marcelino and Ruth Caudillo; sister, Maria Salazar; brothers, Marcelino Caudillo, Jr., Vicente Caudillo, Jimmy Caudillo, Daniel Caudillo, Jose Angel Caudillo.

A private memorial service will be held. Cremation services are under the direction of House of Angels Funeral Home.
